Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 to create an account. Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in details, and use IceBreakerz only where lawful. Existing accounts that cannot establish eligibility may be limited to correction, support, export, and deletion.

A younger guest may participate in a party-game room only under the host's or guardian's responsibility and without creating an account. Hosts are responsible for choosing age-appropriate activities and supervising guests.

You are responsible for activity under your account and rooms you host. Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. Do not share account credentials, impersonate another person, or use automated account creation.

Signed-in gameplay includes the account progression described during signup or migration. Guest gameplay is temporary. Optional analytics and advertising choices remain separate from the contract needed to operate an account.

The Privacy Policy explains the information used for accounts, gameplay, purchases, advertising, security, and optional analytics, and forms part of these Terms.

Service licence and intellectual property

Subject to these Terms, Eased Software grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the current IceBreakerz service for lawful private entertainment on supported devices. No ownership right is transferred.

Eased Software and its licensors retain all rights in the IceBreakerz name, wordmark, software, game systems, original prompts and copy, artwork, interface, databases, documentation, and other service materials. You may not copy, sell, scrape, reverse engineer, extract, frame, republish, create derivative commercial products from, or misuse those materials except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Feedback may be used without payment or confidentiality obligation, but it does not transfer ownership of your separate player content. Official Apple, Google, App Store, Google Play, and other third-party marks remain the property of their owners.

Rooms and player content

Players may submit answers, drawings, prompts, clues, and votes. You retain responsibility for what you submit and grant Eased Software a limited licence to process it only as needed to run, secure, support, and improve IceBreakerz.

Content submitted to a room may be shown to the other players in that room. Do not submit confidential personal information or content you do not have permission to share. Raw room content is not added to personal account progression.

• Do not submit unlawful, abusive, hateful, exploitative, threatening, defamatory, or privacy-invasive content.
• Do not bypass room, payment, entitlement, security, or account controls.
• Hosts may remove players, and IceBreakerz may restrict accounts or rooms that create legal, safety, or security risk.

Drinking-game features

Drinking modes are optional entertainment and can always be played with water or another non-alcoholic alternative. IceBreakerz does not sell alcohol, encourage intoxication, or provide medical advice.

The host confirms the responsible-drinking notice when creating or switching a lobby to drinking mode. Each participant must meet the IceBreakerz country safety threshold and any stricter local rule. A technical age gate is not legal advice or a guarantee that drinking is lawful for a particular person or place.

Never pressure anyone to drink, target a vulnerable person, drive after drinking, combine alcohol with unsafe activities, or ignore health advice. Stop immediately if anyone feels unwell or withdraws consent.

Prices, unlocks, and subscriptions

Browser checkout is unavailable. New purchases are offered only through Apple App Store or Google Play in markets marked ready. The applicable store displays the total price, currency, taxes, purchase type, included access, billing period, trial conversion, renewal timing, cancellation method, and refund information before confirmation.

An individual game purchase unlocks every Party and Drinking version currently offered for that game. Monthly and yearly All Access subscriptions renew until cancelled. A trial converts only as disclosed at checkout.

Paid digital access can begin immediately after store confirmation. Individual digital-content supply and continuous All Access service use distinct immediate-supply acknowledgements where applicable. The Refund and Cancellation Policy preserves the voluntary offer and mandatory rights.

Store availability, price, taxes, family-sharing eligibility, and restoration can differ by platform and country. A verified store purchase is needed to grant or restore access.

Payment providers and confirmations

Apple or Google processes new purchases, renewals, billing recovery, cancellations, and refunds under the applicable store terms. IceBreakerz verifies store transactions before granting access and does not receive or store full card numbers or card security codes.

You receive the store receipt and an IceBreakerz entitlement record. Keep the store account available for purchase restoration. Legacy direct transactions, if any, remain supported and reviewable but no new browser payment is accepted.

Apple and Google platform terms

If you obtained IceBreakerz through Apple, these Terms are between you and Eased Software, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for operating, supporting, warranting, or handling claims about IceBreakerz except to the extent its store terms require. Apple and its subsidiaries are intended third-party beneficiaries of the app licence and may enforce the relevant licence terms.

Google Play distribution, billing, cancellation, refund, family, and account rules also apply to Android use. These Terms do not override any mandatory Apple App Store or Google Play term, consumer remedy, or platform licence requirement.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a subscription at any time. App Store and Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled in the applicable store's subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewal while access normally continues to the paid-period end. Trial cancellation before conversion prevents the first charge.

The separate Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms. It provides a voluntary 14-day request window and preserves all non-excludable consumer rights.

Deleting an IceBreakerz account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel store billing before deletion. Account deletion does not itself refund a completed charge or restore a permanently deleted game unlock. Submit any refund request through the applicable store before deletion.

Advertising and third-party services

IceBreakerz does not place banner ads, interstitial ads, Auto Ads, or ads on public website pages. Eligible free players may voluntarily choose a rewarded ad after a game-specific prompt. On mobile, a completed reward is audited using Google's signed server-side verification. In an approved H5 browser release, access is granted only after Google's adViewed callback and a single-use server challenge; that browser callback is client evidence and is not cryptographic server-side verification. A completed ad unlocks the allowance shown before viewing: 10 Random Drinker round starts, 10 Drinking Wheel spins, one complete Down the Line game, or two complete Link Up boards. Unused activated allowance lasts only for the active game session and ends when the room returns to the lobby, switches games, or closes. Dismissal, no fill, timeout, consent refusal, script failure, or unsupported software grants nothing and does not consume an allowance. Ad availability is not guaranteed.

IceBreakerz requests only non-personalised or limited advertising. Google, Firebase, cloud hosting, database, analytics, app-store, email, and support services may apply their own terms and privacy notices. The Privacy Policy explains their roles and your choices.

Availability, changes, and force majeure

We may update games, features, prices, compatibility, and providers. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service. Material subscription price or term changes are notified before they take effect, and required trial and renewal reminders are sent using the contact details on the account.

To the maximum extent lawful, Eased Software is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including network, cloud, app-store, utility, labour, public-health, natural-disaster, governmental, cyberattack, or force-majeure events. We will use reasonable efforts to restore affected paid functionality and provide any remedy mandatory law requires.

Liability and consumer guarantees

Except for promises and guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, IceBreakerz is supplied on an “as available” basis without an implied warranty of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy of player content, or compatibility with every device.

IceBreakerz is provided for social entertainment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eased Software is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from player conduct, user content, alcohol decisions, unavailable third-party services, misuse, or events outside reasonable control.

Where liability can lawfully be limited, Eased Software's aggregate liability for the affected service is limited to the fees you paid for that service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence or wilful misconduct where such limitation is prohibited, mandatory data-protection liability, or any warranty, guarantee, consumer right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension, termination, and service changes

We may restrict a room or account where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law, secure the service, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a support or appeal route.

You may stop using IceBreakerz and request account deletion. Suspension or termination does not create a refund by itself and does not cancel store billing; mandatory rights and the Refund Policy remain available.

We may update, discontinue, or replace features and providers. Material changes affecting paid access or legal rights will receive the notice required by law.

Governing law and disputes

South African law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory consumer and privacy laws that apply where you live. Contact privacy@easedsoftware.com first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. You may still use any regulator, tribunal, court, or dispute process available under applicable law.

Nothing requires an EEA, UK, or Swiss consumer to waive a mandatory local court, collective remedy, or regulator. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to the extent lawful. Eased Software may assign these Terms as part of a lawful corporate transaction; you may not transfer an account without consent.

South Africa addendum

South African electronic-commerce and consumer protections apply, including required supplier disclosures, transaction records, cooling-off rights where applicable, and remedies for services not performed to the required standard.
