Play safely

A good game night includes everyone.

Choose the pace together, make every prompt optional, and look after the people you are playing with.

Keep participation optional

Anyone can skip a question, drawing, clue, challenge, or drinking prompt. Do not pressure someone to explain why. Change the prompt and keep playing.

Protect the room

Share room codes only with the people you invited. The host should remove disruptive participants and end the room if a code reaches people outside the group.

If drinking mode is selected

Alcohol is never required.

Drinking mode is intended only for people who meet the IceBreakerz safety age for their country and any higher age required by local law. Water, soft drinks, points, forfeits, or harmless challenges can replace every drinking action.

  • Decide on limits before the first round.
  • Use small, comfortable amounts and take breaks.
  • Stop immediately if someone feels unwell or uncomfortable.
  • Never drink and drive, cycle, swim, or operate equipment.
  • Call local emergency services when someone may need urgent help.

IceBreakerz does not sell alcohol and is not medical advice. The host chooses the room category, but everyone remains responsible for their own decisions and for following local law.
